In the Friedrichshafen, International show for General Aviation came to an end on Saturday, April 13. Among more than six hundred exhibitors from 35 countries, there was Polish Air Navigation Services Agency, which presented its exhibition at the Polish stand.

Gate One – the new professional cooperation platform of eleven ANSPs of Central and Eastern European region
The Air Traffic Control services of eleven countries comprising the region from the Baltic Sea to the Black Sea signed a strategic cooperation agreement on 6 November on establishing a regional cooperation platform. The purpose of the strategic alliance titled GATE ONE, covering the entire area of three functional airspace blocks is to promote the efficiency of European Air Traffic Control through an enhanced cooperation among the participating service providers, moreover to ensure a more powerful and coordinated advocacy of the countries of the region in the European decision-making processes.

Vigilant Skies 2013
A live exercise, Vigilant Skies 2013, to test the NATO-Russia Council’s Cooperative Airspace Initiative (CAI) Information Exchange System (IES) take place on 23 – 27 September 2013 over the three CAI geographical areas of operational interest, Bodø – Murmansk, Warsaw – Kaliningrad and Ankara – Rostov-on-Don.

Network Operations Report - April 2013
In April 2013 traffic was similar to April 2012. With some of the Easter flight decline moving into March, April saw stronger traffic but still a very small decline of -0.1%. This was the strongest performance since the current downturn started in Winter 2011.
