Trials of the Flight Transmission Analyser (FTA) in PANSA
Polish Air Navigation Services Agency takes part in the CRCO development program focused on the innovative tool that shall improve the efficiency of the multilateral route charges system. In December 2018 a meeting was held in PANSA’s headquarters between the representatives of Finance and Accounting Office of the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency, the Central Route Charges Office (CRCO) of EUROCONTROL and Deutsche Flugsicherung (DFS).
Discussion within the Second Phase of Completeness Check Trials was focused on problems of ensuring complete, full and appropriate data to be used by CRCO for the purpose of En-route charges calculation. The trials were aimed at confirming the consistency of data transmitted by PANSA, alike Route Charges Offices of other member states, to the CRCO with the operational data presented by the Network Manager.
Through the involvement in the operational data verification initiative with use of the DFS-developed application FTA (Flight Transmission Analyser), PANSA is actively participating in testing and development of the tool before its launch, thus introducing Polish contribution to the perfection process of the multilateral system for route charges. Formally, the FTA tool is foreseen to be made available by CRCO to all interested states in the course of 2019.
